Privacy policy

This site is a portfolio. There are no accounts, no logins and nothing to buy. The only personal information involved is what you choose to send me through the contact form or by email.

The contact form on this site asks for your first and last name, work email, country, phone number (optional), the kind of work you need, and how you heard about me. Nothing else is requested, and there is no account to create. Those answers are placed into an email draft for you to send from your own mail application.

To read your enquiry and reply to it. That is the only use. I do not add you to a mailing list, send newsletters, or pass your details to anyone else, and there is no advertising or profiling on this site.

There is no server, database or form service behind this site. Pressing Submit opens a draft in your own email application with your answers filled in. Nothing is transmitted until you send that message yourself, and you are free to edit or discard it first. Once sent, it sits in my email inbox like any other message you might write me.

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Where an enquiry becomes a project, the correspondence is kept for the length of that project and for up to six years afterwards, to meet accounting and record-keeping obligations. You can ask me to delete your details sooner at any time.

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. It measures information such as page views, referring pages, approximate location, device type and loading performance. It does not set analytics cookies, create advertising profiles or track you across different websites. The analytics script and measurements are provided to Cloudflare; no information entered into the contact form is sent to analytics.

Before you make a choice, Microsoft Clarity runs in no-consent mode and measures limited, cookie-free interactions on the current page. It does not use analytics storage or maintain a cross-page identity in this mode. Selecting Accept enables analytics storage, complete heatmaps and session continuity for interactions such as clicks, scrolling and navigation. Selecting Reject stops Clarity from loading on subsequent page views. Contact forms are explicitly masked and advertising storage is always denied.

Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed at any time using the Privacy settings button. Consent is the legal basis for analytics storage and continuous session recording; limited no-consent measurement is used to understand and improve the site's operation.

You can ask what details of yours I hold, ask me to correct them, ask me to delete them, or object to my holding them at all. If you are in the UK or EU, those rights come from the UK GDPR and the GDPR, and also include the right to a copy of your data and the right to complain to your national data protection authority. Email me and I will act on any such request within thirty days.
